Another reason to fall in love with your Reference Profile: What your PI candy heart says

Most of us enjoy receiving a little token of love or appreciation on Valentine’s Day, whether in the form of a note, a bouquet, or a candy heart.

What else do PI users love? Their Reference Profiles!

In the spirit of the holiday, as well as our fondness for behavioral data, we thought it’d be fun to run through each profile and give out candy hearts with messages that speak to their most prominent behaviors – the quirks and traits that make each profile beautiful, and help us appreciate the behavioral diversity of Better Work, Better World.

Here’s what we envision each profile receiving from their valentine:

Adapter: “Bridge builder”

The consummate stabilizing profile, an Adapter loves seeing their flexibility pay off in the form of great communication and collaboration.

Altruist: “Heart of gold”

Altruists are not only friendly and warm, they genuinely care about team harmony and engagement – always abiding by that Golden Rule.

Analyzer: “Data over drama”

Spare the Analyzer your office politics and corporate buzzwords. Just the facts, please.

Artisan: “Crafting with care”

Nothing appeals to the Artisan’s sensibilities quite like a nod to their specialized skills.

Captain: “Leading the way”

Let the Captain know you appreciate their guidance and initiative – and then let them devise a plan for handing out the rest of these candy hearts.

Collaborator: “Work bestie”

Any nod to the Collaborator’s care for their colleagues is sure to make them glow. Even if you’re not that close, the Collaborator will take this heart as a sign to work closer!

Controller: “Quality, always.”

The Controller will surely appreciate you subtly complimenting their commitment to expertise, and your complementing it with impeccable punctuation.

Guardian: “I got you.”

The Guardian is known for offering support, but they also appreciate support from others. When better to provide that support than on V Day?!

Individualist: “You do you.”

Game recognize game. The Individualist will love a shoutout for their commitment to getting their thing done – even if they don’t show it.

Maverick: “Risk taker”

No need to beat around the bush – let the Maverick in your life know you see them breaking down barriers and thinking outside that proverbial heart-shaped box.

Operator: “Making it happen”

Steady, focused, responsible, and accurate, the Operator is a quiet catalyst, always making things move even if it’s behind the scenes.

Persuader: “Talk, win, repeat.”

The Persuader will appreciate this clever approach… and then they’ll offer advice for how to make it even better next time.

Promoter: “Bringing the party”

Promoters love a good hype train – whether they’re on it or the reason for it.

Scholar: “Deep thinker”

Get at their inner introspection, and then surprise them a week later with a follow-up heart.

Specialist: “You’re the expert.”

This one’s a layup. Don’t overcomplicate it.

Strategist: “One step ahead”

An efficient, self-starter, they’ll probably know this is coming, but appreciate it anyway.

Venturer: “Making bold moves”

Sure to inspire the Venturer to make another.
