Employees tend to lack the necessary people data insights to work together at their best. Without that data and awareness regarding their own workplace behaviors and those of others, they could inadvertently create communication problems, conflict, and even organizational toxicity. The more people in your organization that understand how PI works, its benefits, and how it will be used, the more comfortable they will be and the more they will participate.
Below are some steps to help you get up and running with the features that are specific to Inspire that would apply to anyone in your organization.
Inspire implementation steps
1. Determine when and how your organization will use features and guides in Inspire:
- Snapshot
- Behavioral Report
- Reference Profiles
- Relationship Guide
- Personal Development Guide
- Management Skills Guide
- Management Tips (for managers)
- Coaching Guide (for managers)
2. Communicate your plan and your expectations to the organization. Share the Onboarding Guide with everyone in your organization and anticipate questions people might have:
- When will employees see and be expected to use the behavioral data in Inspire?
- How will managers be expected to incorporate these features into their 1:1 and team meetings?
- How will this information be used to help employees build and maintain healthy working relationships?
- Where can people go for guidance?
