Perform implementation
PI Perform integrates behavioral data into day-to-day workflows to help managers personalize their management style to each direct report. It provides the tools to apply those insights and leadership best practices through 1:1s, group meetings, continuous feedback, and employee recognition.
Setting up Perform is about more than just the software—it’s about getting your organization to use it to improve how teams communicate, collaborate, and achieve results together. Below are some steps to help you get up and running with the features that are specific to Perform to ensure fast adoption, aligned teams, and sustained engagement.
Technical set-up
1
Determine your preferred method of inviting new users:
2
Connect Perform to your HRIS.
3
Make sure your email domains are set up correctly
If your organization has email domains that are in addition to your company name, be sure the Override allowable organization domains option is turned on.

Sample email: Introducing Perform to your organization
[Introduction],
I’m reaching out with an exciting update. We’re rolling out and implementing PI Perform, a performance management tool that will help us drive more effective 1:1s across the company. Perform will allow us to capture meeting notes and action items, enhance how we provide feedback to each other, and allow for more effective goal setting and cross functional collaboration.
Be on the lookout for an invite to join the software. In the meantime, I’ve included a link to the Perform Accelerator course, a 60 minute lunch and learn to familiarize yourself with the tool and ask questions.
