Work Styles Framework
Quadrants in opposing positions embody competing values. Quadrants that are adjacent to one another embody some shared values. Click on each quadrant below to learn about how they are defined.
Leader behaviors by quadrant
This framework helps us to understand people and behavior. The PI Science team conducted research to link the four framework quadrants to the four drives measured by the Behavioral Assessment.
Click on each quadrant below to explore the relationships between the four drives and the leader behaviors for each quadrant.
Reference Profiles by quadrant
Based on the mapping of the Behavioral Assessment four factors, there are often common themes between where a leader is plotted in the quadrants and their Behavioral Assessment results.
There are some Reference Profiles where the quadrant mapping is more variable and depends on the specific configuration of their Behavioral Assessment Pattern. These include Adapter, Altruist, and Individualist.
The image below shows how Reference Profiles map to the four quadrants. Keep in mind that these are not hard and fast rules, but general guidelines that will be true in most cases. Click on each grouping to learn more.
Strategies by quadrant
The Work Styles framework also helps us to understand business strategies and initiatives in terms that align to people and talent.
