Information

GURU is a knowledge center that is built by those who use it.  The product is only as good as the information we insert into it.  The User Operations Team and other teams at PI rely heavily on this platform to be a single source of truth.

We currently have over 12 Collections that house over 3,000 cards. Of those 3,000, 93% are verified and trusted. Our technical writer is the gatekeeper of our GURU cards and maintains the consistency and quality of the information. To create a card, PIoneers will submit the information they need created via the submission form found here.

Installing Slack Extension

You can search for cards and answer others questions in cards directly in Slack. To install, navigate to ‘Apps’ in Slack and search for ‘Guru’ in search bar.

Now it is your turn to create your first GURU card. Utilizing the GURU Submission Form, include the following information:

  1. Title: About Me: YOUR NAME
  2. Your Name
  3. Email Address
  4. Request Type: New Card
  5. Card Purpose: Informational
  6. Guru Collection: Not Listed
  7. Verification Interval: Every Year
  8. Content (add your answers to the below categories):
    1. Hobbies/Interests
    2. Favorite Team
    3. Favorite Number
    4. Allergies
    5. Favorite Snack
    6. Favorite Candy
    7. Starbucks/Coffee Drink Order
    8. PI Swag Wish List
    9. T-Shirt Size
    10. Sweater Size
    11. Ideal Room Temperature
