Not much has changed between Design legacy and Design in PI2. As with the rest of PI2, we’ve updated the user interface. However, we hope things look and feel similar to the Design experience you’ve come to expect.

Note: All of your company’s team data will carry over, so you can continue where you left off.

Biggest changes in PI2

“Restrict access”: Add team members without granting software access

In the legacy version of Design, adding team members to a team would automatically give them PI software access.

In PI2, we’ve added the ability for users to “restrict access” to a team. Any team members added to a “restricted” team will not be notified or granted access to view the team.

Note: Any existing teams brought over from legacy PI will default to “restricted.” (This permission cannot be modified.) To allow team members to access the PI software, we recommend creating a new team in PI2.
