Workshops: Overview

PI has two different types of product to offer clients: the software, and workshops. Workshops are productized services that partners can “sell” clients to train them in applying PI and talent optimization in their organizations. They can be delivered in-person or virtually, and these workshops include a facilitator’s guide for the trainer (partner), and participant materials for clients who are attending these workshops.

  • Enrollment Type: There are two ways someone can deliver a workshop: open or closed.
    • Open Workshop – Used for multiple different clients and are charged per-participant.  This is used for Master Training Center workshops.
    • Closed Workshop – Used for a single client and are charged a flat room-rate fee.
  • Location Type:  Workshops can be presented at a physical location or can be held virtually.
  • Payment Options: There are two ways that workshops are billed: through PI or directly by the partner.  You will more about financing in a later section, however, if a partner is “duality enabled” OR they are a licensee, they are required to bill their client for the workshop and then pay PI a content licensing fee upon completion of that workshop.  If the partner is not “duality enabled” and are an agent, then the partner must include the workshop sale in an approved quote via ForceBC and PI will bill the client for the sales amount.

  • Participant Types:  Participants can be classified as one of three participant types:
    • Standard — Standard participant, paying full prices
    • Refresh — Participant who as completed the workshop within the last calendar year, and is eligible for a discounted price.
    • Audit — Partner participant completing the workshop for training purposes.
