Global platform implementation

Below are some steps that apply to the functionality of all products or features in the software. These will require someone with organization admin access and, potentially, someone from your IT team as you work with your PI Partner on your implementation strategy and plan.
Some companies have heightened IT or email security policies that require a few extra steps to avoid errors in the software or to make sure PI software-related emails are delivered successfully.
This article walks through our technical recommendations (including safelisting).
Inviting relevant third-party users
A third-party user is a special type of account reserved for those outside of your organization, such as a contractor or consultant. Third-party users are granted the highest access level to all PI products your organization is subscribed to.
Configuring your organization’s data
Updating your organization’s employee data allows you to quickly populate your employee directory and send assessments. This is done by connecting your HRIS or uploading your organization data (also referred to as Org Upload). The more users you have in the PI platform, the more success you’ll see.
Connecting the Predictive Index with your HRIS can streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and automate tasks, which reduces manual data entry, and improves compliance. Once you complete this integration request form, our integrations team will reach out to activate it, provide documentation, and answer any questions you have.
If you aren’t able to connect via your HRIS, uploading organization data is the fastest way to send assessments, invite new users, and populate or edit your employee directory. Org uploads can be done in bulk (up to 400 employees) or in separate slices, which you might want to do for a specific department or if the managers changes for an entire department.
Set access levels and behavioral data permissions (BDP)
Once you’ve populated your employee directory, you’ll want to make sure that everyone has the right level of access and permissions in the software.
Access levels are set on a per-product basis. For example: If you’re subscribed to PI Hire and PI Design, it’s possible to be a product admin in Hire and a limited user in Design.

ATS integrations
The Predictive Index cooperates with software vendors and third-party solution providers who wish to integrate PI into other software systems. Through our Integration Catalog, you can learn about the opportunities to bring PI together with your other software systems.
