Moving a candidate from one job to another

Sometimes when assessing a candidate, you discover they’re a better match for a different job.

Here’s how to move a candidate from one job to another:

How to move a candidate between jobs

  1. Log in to PI Hire.
  2. From the Hiring Center, click the Candidates tab.
  3. Search the name of the candidate or the job they’re currently associated with.
  4. Click the checkbox next to their name.
  5. (Optional) Repeat for any additional candidates.
  6. Click the Actions dropdown box next to the search bar.
  7. Select Move to different job from the options.
  8. Search for the new job and select it from the list that appears.
  9. Select Move.
  10. The candidate(s) will now be associated with the new job.

FAQ

I’m not able to move a candidate to “X” job. Why?
To move a candidate from one job to another, you need edit access to both jobs in question.

Make sure you have been granted edit access to these jobs via Hire’s share function.
