Product Marketing Manager

For the past 60 years, The Predictive Index has been evolving. Today we are recognized as the authority on predicting behavior and performance in the workplace. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and communicating the value proposition for workforce analytics and behavioral assessment products/services provided by PI. As the voice of the buyer, they will craft the messaging and positioning for all products and services, develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand, and will transfer that knowledge through all sales channels. This is a highly diverse role fit for an individual who is looking to lead all product marketing initiatives for a rapidly growing global B2B company. Attention to detail, an eye for quality, and the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is critical for success in this role.

  • Branding – Serve as the gatekeeper of the PI brand, develop guidelines, and uphold brand standards internally and across the PI member firm network of global resellers
  • Buyer Behaviors & Trends – Understand the buyer journey, develop/maintain buyer persona research, and ultimately serve as the resident expert on target customer demographics, needs, requirements, etc.
  • Product Messaging – Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates products and services from the global market
  • Sales Enablement – Create collateral and present across the company to conduct knowledge transfer of features, benefits, and key market differentiators (includes PRM marketing)
  • Product Release Planning – Work closely with Product Management to create a marketing calendar, plan and launch new products/services
  • Competitive Intelligence & Market Trends – Conduct ongoing research on competitors and the market and identify areas for opportunity and growth from both a product and branding standpoint 


  • Passion for B2B analytics, assessments, and/or survey tools (SaaS) and the ability to identify and explain technology, product, and market differentiators
  • Working knowledge of product development, management, and marketing processes/standards for B2B software or business services
  • Has worked with sales channels, including direct sales, web, reseller, or VAR
  • Willingness to present to and engage with employees, affiliates, and/or clients via product trainings, product promotions, and at live events
  • Very strong writing and oral communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills; proficient in project management methodologies
  • Proven business and analytical skills to conduct market analysis, develop and execute go-to-market plans
  • Speed and agility; ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, producing materials within tight deadlines
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Ability to manage complex projects and synthesize direction from many individuals
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to manage own time and take initiative
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, technology, business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a B2B software or business services product marketing role


The position will be based in PI’s office in Westwood, MA. Travel may be required based on project-specific needs.

Commercial Contracts Attorney (part-time)

The part-time Commercial Contracts Attorney will report to the Director of Legal Affairs and assist with support to The Predictive Index’s growing sales and services operations on a part-time basis.  The position will have responsibility to negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating SaaS subscription agreements, professional services agreements, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, and other commercial contracts.  

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiation of a variety of agreements with customers and prospects, including software-as-a-service subscription and services agreements, order forms, renewals, statements of work and NDAs
  • Reviewing and negotiating distribution agreements, sales agreements, marketing/ad agreements, SOWs, and NDAs with partners and vendors
  • Responding to inquiries relating to customer and distribution agreements
  • Quickly identify the major legal issues presented and escalate as necessary
  • Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes

  • Active bar membership and good standing in Massachusetts (required)
  • 2-5 years of experience in a commercial or corporate department of a major law firm and/or an in-house legal department preferred
  • Technology licensing experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and legal writing skills
  • Ability to deliver practical legal advice in a collaborative manner while addressing business concerns
  • Emphasis and focus on prompt, responsive and quality legal service
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver projects on time
The ideal candidate will be intelligent, motivated, self-directed and diligent, with experience in-house or in the corporate department at a major law firm in the technology/software licensing field. All candidates must be able to work in a dynamic, evolving and fast-paced work environment, with the confidence and abilities to work independently and to interact successfully with internal clients and external parties.
